A Cool Tool for Hot July

My Joann's 50% off coupon was burning a hole in my pocket so I just had to find something to use it on. I went up and down the aisles looking for a good find. I spied the Pebbles Inc. ribbon ironer.
I have a drawer full of crushed ribbons - well because I have to cram them in to fit - and it's always a pain to get out my iron to get the wrinkles out of the ribbons before I use them on a card or project. This ribbon ironer was just what I needed - and it works like a charm.
You just run the ribbon through the heated plates - goes in wrinkled comes out nice and flat! Spiffy~
Being a nice relaxing holiday and a day off from work - yeah! - I was able to do a little bit of stamping. Here are some quickie card that I made using some stamps from Oxford Impressions and Paperbag Studios....along with some scrap ephemera I had on my "messy" desk:

Your cards are great. Love the one with the PBS stamp. I have never even heard of the ribbon ironer. That is such a cool little gadget.
