It's a Bra - It's a Purse
A few years ago I took a class from Robin Monville of Backyard Card and Gifts (http://www.backyardcards-gifts.com/) where we transformed a bra into a stylish little purse. Robin is a very talented and funny artist. The class was titled - get this - "Booby Trap". After I read the class description and the very clever title I knew this class was for me. We all had a great time and learned - yep, how to make a purse out of an ordinary bra. I never looked at a bra the same since then. We also learned some soldering techniques and used some of Robin's fantastic collage sheets.

I used a basic black bra that I found at TJ Maxx. I folded the bra in half and glued the seams shut - but not before adding some dangly trim. I then cut the straps off one side and then re-attached them where I wanted. I embellished the outside with a piece of toile fabric, a fabric inkjet vintage picture of a little girl, a ballerina finding and of course...some buttons.
